Alliance Française de Kuala Lumpur (AFKL) and FINAS, in collaboration with the French Animated Film Association (AFCA) and Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) organised the 15th France Animated Film Festival on the 21st October.

I was invited to be one of the speaker together with Usama Yasin Zaid (Founder of Wau Animation), Desmond Lee (Managing Director of Appxplore Mobile Game Development Studios), Hassan Muthalib (Filmmaker) and Guillaume Duchemin (Audiovisual Attache at the French Embassy in Singapore).

And like most forum, it was not a yes no answers. Elaboration tend to get lengthy and messy. Just as..
..the questions were. Very aware of these, I answered short and precise. I think. Maybe not.

And like most forum, festivals, markets and exhibitions, the highlights will be the catching up with friends and finding new ones. Networking as they say. And glad I met with some lecturers and industry players.

All in all, it was a very well organised event although they had a short period of time. The crowds did turned up. A lot more wanted to come but was not aware of it.

The place where Hassan's first animation were being
previewed. That was way back some 30 years ago.

lecturers from a few universities and industry players.

Hassan Muthalib and myself before the event begin. We smiled for
some long seconds while the cameraman was trying to
figure the gizmo.
