Geram Hari Raya
Dua orang wanita, satu berkebaya satu baju kurung ter-alter.

Jurassic Cup Cake
Sketched on my sketchbook. A family of cupcakes. An animated series planned.
With no particular title, I asked my boy, "Fahad, what should we
call this?"
There was a monster cake in the original design. After looking at that for a minute or so,
Fahad decided to call this as Jurassic Cup Cake.
So Jurassic Cup Cake it is.

Story Board and Shooting Board.
Storyboard is your blue print. Architect's plan and a manual instruction. You might have heard of shooting board. While storyboard has the look and feel, angle and the story tempo, a shooting board is more precise. The angle should be achievable in the real world, the background would be the setting at the set and the framing would be final. In short, a storyboard is what you present to your client for the job, while a shooting board is what the artist re-draw after the script is finalise and the location is lock.
Most animators would never come across the word shooting board. And most storyboard has all the shooting board quality. However the drawing is labelled, shooting board or story board, it should be able to convey the needs for the director (producers, DOP and aa lot of other guys) to pick it up and direct.
The storyboard you see here is drawn to be presented to client. My main purpose was to sell the 'new' and innovative look and the storytelling style. A heavily textured, a simple and universal character and a light way of conveying a heavy message.
Of course, this was presented with the real rendered 3D character design.

Arnab & Kura-Kura - Location & Prop
![]() |
| 12 May 2007 |
2007: This is a sketch found among those A4s kept in between files and documentation.
The sketches of locations & props were usually spontaneous during scripts or boarding.
This was the time when i was the script writer, concept artist, board artist, director and line-producer. This was that period when i was the pre-pro itself. Haha !! Not funny.
